Video Production

A picture says a thousand words. A video is 24 pictures per second. We create training and promotional videos for our clients when they need that extra something to get their point across.

Our company specialty in understanding our clients' business, particularly in hard-to-explain niches, gives us the ability to create messaging that concisely conveys your message, creating those elusive "aha" moments for your employees, customers, and prospects.

Our videos can follow a variety of formats to best meet your needs, audience, and budget.

Training

In order for viewers to retain information, it needs to be presented in a manner that's both clear and engaging. We strive to make our videos fun to watch, so viewers can better retain what they're learning.

REACH THE PEAK ENERGY CHALLENGE

Brevity produced 12 themed videos as part of a larger communications initiative to reduce energy use across the enterprise. Each video had a specific focus area detailing low- and no-cost action items to reduce energy consumption and costs. The themes included major building equipment, such as air handling units and electrical systems, as well as behavioral changes staff could make to save energy.

This is a condensed edit of the cooling tower-themed video.

scripted video, client speaking with b-roll

Josh Minton

This is an example of the scripted video, client speaking with b-roll format. "B-roll" is the term used for footage that is silently laid over the primary speaker. It is used to illustrate what the speaker is saying, and to add action to what would otherwise be an uninterrupted monologue.

For clients who are less inclined to speak or appear on screen, professional voiceovers are available. It is also possible to create videos using only "b-roll".

MRB Consulting

The client wanted a promotional video to explain the benefits of fractional CFO services to small- and medium-sized businesses who don't yet have the budget to hire a full-time CFO.

This is another example of the scripted video, client speaking with b-roll format.

"I absolutely loved working with Brevity. They took the time to understand my business and help me craft my message. They were responsive and their follow-through was excellent. I was nervous about being on camera, but when the day of the video shoot came, their fun but professional approach put me at ease. I'm very happy with both the video and with the process of making it."

edited interview with b-roll format

The Gentle Chiropractor

Instead of creating a formal script, we can often achieve a similar effect by interviewing the client and then editing the finished product to appear as though the video had been scripted.

This is an example of the edited interview with b-roll format.

This client chose to add captions to the bottom of the video for a better user experience on social platforms, where videos are usually muted by default.
